Where are you based?

I’m based in my home studio in Orchard Leigh, positioned close to the vibrant towns of Amersham, Chesham, Berkhamsted, and Bovingdon. This location offers a serene yet accessible setting, perfect for both studio and outdoor sessions.

Where do the sessions take place?

All indoor sessions for newborns, babies, children and families take place in my cozy home studio. The environment is designed to be comfortable and welcoming, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere for capturing those precious moments.

For outdoor shoots, we have the flexibility to choose one of my favorite locations in Chorleywood. Alternatively, I can suggest some beautiful spots that change with the seasons, providing a unique backdrop depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Whether it's a vibrant autumn park or a blossoming spring field, we'll find the perfect setting for your outdoor session.

What should I wear?

For the Newborn shoots I have a range of beautiful outfits to choose from. For Babies, Children and family shoots I suggest avoiding logos and loud patterns as this can be distracting. For family shoots, it’s nice to wear colours that complement each other. I do have a small selection of clothing you are more than welcome to use for little ones ages 6 - 12 months. When should I arrange my newborn shoot?

It's ideal to book your newborn session right after your 20-week scan. I will pencil you in around your due date and only confirm a date once your little one has arrived. However, don't hesitate to reach out even if it's last minute or your baby has already arrived; there might still be availability.

The shoot should ideally take place within the first 14 days of your baby being born. The shoot will last 2 hours allowing plenty of time for feeds, changes, and settling the baby. I am very relaxed and will take my time when taking the pictures.

When should I arrange my baby shoot?

This session is for babies who are sitting and around 6 months old, the session will last around an hour. I believe every moment is a milestone in a baby’s life, so please still get in touch if your baby is over 14 days and under 6 months.

What if the weather is bad for my outdoor shoot?

If it’s raining we can carry on with the shoot, with coats, umbrellas and wellies! Or if the weather is terrible we can reschedule but please note this is subject to availability.

How long do I have to wait to see my final pictures?

Two weeks after the shoot you will receive a link to a password-protected online gallery. Here, you can view and select your pictures. This ensures you have easy access to review your photos and make your selections. If a USB or prints are included in your package these will be sent out once ready. Digital download will also be available for the selected images.
